Responsibilities

•Oversees the end-to-end Concierge Guest experience onboard, including the Concierge lounge.

•Provide leadership and operational direction to Concierge team members to see that brand and service delivery standards are executed on a consistent basis, including training, coaching, and overall team development.

•Service designated Concierge Guests by providing personalized itinerary planning, acquiring special bookings, planning special events, assisting with folio settlement or any other special requests that may arise (i.e. spa or dining reservations)

•Deliver the highest level of personalized service and actively interact with Concierge Guests in 32 to 154 staterooms (dependent on vessel) daily, showcasing integrity and efficiency

•Take full ownership of the Concierge Lounge ensuring all food and beverage aspects are well run and implemented. Monitor cleanliness and maintenance of the area ensuring it is up to show quality standards

•Be instrumental in crafting an environment and performing service that is second to none ensuring all Guest requests are implemented in a timely manner

Basic Qualifications

•Two year hospitality experience with a luxury brand required

•Languages preferred – English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Mandarin, Japanese, Hindi, Arabic, Tagalog, Bahasa, Malay

•Leadership and concierge experience preferred with knowledge of proper Concierge etiquette

•Resort or Cruise line Concierge experience desired of affluent clientele

•Must be creative and enjoy crafting a fun and safe atmosphere for children

•Clearly convey information

•Proven record to deliver excellent service

•Self motivated, able to work autonomously

•Ability to build relationships amongst other departments

Additional Information

This is a SHIPBOARD role.
You must:

Be genuinely interested in a career at sea and willing to live and work onboard a Disney Cruise Line vessel
Be willing to follow and perform safety role, emergency responsibilities, and associated responsibilities as specified in the ship Assembly Plan
Be willing to uphold the general safety management responsibilities as specified in the Safety Management System in areas and operations under their control
If applicable, be willing to share a confined cabin with other crew members and appreciative of working and living in a multicultural environment that has strict rules and regulations

Your Responsibilities:

Have a valid passport and C1/D Seaman's visa (DCL will provide you with documents to obtain this)
Complete a pre-employment medical
Obtain a criminal background check
Bring approved work shoes
