Manager, Client Success -Optimization Strategy

LocaliQ is looking for aManager, Optimization Strategy, for ourLocal Client Success group. The role will lead a team of experts responsible for delivering smart, innovative and performance-driven digital campaigns for our local clients. 

The ideal candidate has 5+ years experience managing a growing team and 10+ years in digital marketing, specifically with PPC campaign execution (including tagging and trafficking).  You will manage, motivate and coach a team of Optimization Strategists and are ultimately responsible for campaign fulfillment and success.

You will partner closely with account management and sales, along with many other internal teams to manage workflow and grow the client relationship. You will connect the dots between high level strategy and how to best deliver it via tactical Paid Search/Social channel plan recommendations.

You are also expected to provide thought leadership to your clients and maintain a high-level knowledge of your clients’ line of business by staying on top of industry trends.

About Your Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight for your team, ensuring they are delivering on campaign excellence across the accounts they manage (including flawless launches, delivering in full and hitting campaign KPIs)
• Thrive in managing up and down.  You will be in the weeds to provide audits of campaigns where performance needs a boost, as well as partnering with leadership to identify proactive opportunities to support business objectives 
• Be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and varying needs at 1 time
• Provide trouble shooting support and guidance as your team or campaigns dictate
• Conduct weekly meetings with those you manage to provide feedback and guidance to help achieve client objectives, meet team goals, and ensure quality of work
• Create and roll out processes that will streamline digital execution
• Ensure tight communication between all internal teams so we have consistent messaging and presence across paid search, organic presence, display, and social media marketing channels
• Develop and advise on marketing strategies by understanding client expectations, cost of marketing goals, assessing feasibility and identifying marketing and advertising opportunities for our clients
• Develop and refine onboarding, training, and mentoring new hires, as well as keeping the team’s skills fresh

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the digital space, in an agency environment, or in-house equivalent 
• Display exceptional written and verbal communication skills and can communicate digital/social concept
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public relations or related fields, advance degree preferred
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset; you bring a can-do mentality and can thrive in gray areas
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously with great precision and accuracy.
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of SEM, SEO and display, social, email marketing and an understanding of new media consumer behaviors and trends
• Ability to manage heavy workloads with flexibility to rapidly shift priorities based on organizational needs
• Creative thinker with strong time management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $85,000 and $90,000 base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications and experience. Note: variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable.
