Maintenance Technician II

Job Description:

Hiltop at Senior Village is seeking an experiencedMaintenance Technician II with a strong background indrywall repair and finishing and well-rounded apartment maintenance skills. This is a hands-on position for a skilled technician who can independently complete high-quality repairs, unit turns, and maintenance projects across multiple trades.

What You’ll Do

• Complete apartment unit turns with minimal contractor support
• Perform drywall installation, patching, texturing, finishing, sanding, and repairs
• Complete carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and general maintenance repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems
• Address water damage, wall restoration, and interior repairs
• Perform preventive maintenance in apartments and common areas
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete repairs in a timely, professional manner
• Maintain safe, clean, and well-maintained buildings and grounds
• Follow company standards, safety procedures, and applicable building codes
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and track inventory and supplies

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of residential or apartment maintenance experience required
• Advanced skills in drywall finishing, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work
• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex maintenance issues
• HVAC experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to complete unit turns efficiently and professionally
• High school diploma or GED required
• Technical training, certifications, or trade experience are a plus
• Valid driver’s license required

Additional Requirements

• Participation in anon-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• $60/month mobile phone allowance
