About The Opportunity
The person in this position conducts minor maintenance on the interior and exterior of building and grounds and communicates issue to the maintenance manager and/or area supervisors, and maintains a productive, safe and clean work environment.Essential Functions:Â Changed from Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and proceduresÂ
- Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelinesÂ
- Change light bulbs and fixturesÂ
- Cut and install filter material for the air filtering systemÂ
- Change ceiling tiles as necessaryÂ
- Perform general painting dutiesÂ
- Perform general construction duties (repair/install walls, hand doors, fix door knobs or locks, etc.)Â
- Install, inspect safety equipment/supplies (i.e., eye wash stations, hearing protection dispensers, first aid boxes, etc.)Â
- Proactively communicate problems encountered to applicable areas, and discuss maintenance concerns with maintenance manager and/or leadÂ
- Enhance internal and external department communication toward creating and maintaining a cohesive work environment Â
- Assist with maintenance projects as neededÂ
- Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirementsÂ
- Complete scheduled work ordersÂ
- Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors Â

High school diploma or equivalentÂ

- Demonstrated ability to apply basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic principlesÂ
- Technical knowledge of maintenance tools and equipmentÂ

- Attentive to detail & accuracy, looks for improvements to work processes and takes advantage of tools & resources, finds root cause to quality problemsÂ

This is for a 3rd shift Position: Sunday to Thursday 11:00pm to 7:00am. There is a 3 dollar shift differential
