Maintenance Manager

As the Maintenance Service Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall operation of the maintenance department and the appearance and working order of the apartment community.

• Responsible for daily supervision of maintenance staff members including the delegation of work orders, special projects and time management techniques.
• Inspect and oversee existing work orders through completion.
• Manage HVAC, Boiler, plumbing, electrical, appliance and all other service requests.
• Mentor and train new and existing maintenance staff members.
• Involved with interviewing and selection of new maintenance team members.
• Provide written monthly energy management recommendations for the building.
• Identify capital improvements and obtain required estimates/bids.
• Assist in budget preparation for maintenance expenses.

• Experience in hotel, apartment, hospital maintenance/engineering,with 2 years of supervisory experience leading a team.
• Excellent customer service and computer skills. 
• Ability to create a team, mentor, and train a team 
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, appliances, water heaters, chillers/boilers, and H.V.A.C.  or EPA Universal Certification.
•  Proven track record managing a preventative maintenance program and experience with capital projects.
