Maintenance Engineer-DUN

This position is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining advanced production equipment, leading technical projects, supporting preventative maintenance programs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on injection molding equipment.
• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC systems including Siemens, Beckoff, and Allen Bradley.
• Lead technical projects from concept through implementation.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance and facility-related activities.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules for machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
• Monitor and manage maintenance inventory levels.
• Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and equipment efficiency improvements.
• Assist with budgeting, asset management, and maintenance planning.
• Support the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisor with department objectives.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 10 years of maintenance experience including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred

• Experience with injection molding equipment.
• Experience working with Engel molding machines.
• Formal maintenance training or technical education.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and other industrial equipment.
• Comfortable working around high-voltage electrical systems.
• Overtime as needed.
