Mainframe Technical Team Lead (z/OS, CICS, COBOL)

We’re looking for a Mainframe Technical Team Lead for a role in Columbia, SC; State College, PA; or Dallas, TX.

Must be a US citizen
CMS/Public Trust Clearance Needed

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on CICS experience
• Strong expertise in CICS, REXX, and Assembler
• Experience leading or supporting CICS upgrade projects (current initiative includes upgrading from CICS 5.6 to 6.3)
• Ability to serve as a technical lead and provide senior-level support and guidance
• Proven troubleshooting and production support experience in large-scale mainframe environments
• Hands-on experience with z/OS, CICS (strong preference for CICS Plex), VSAM, and SMP/E
• Strong analytical skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate a team of technical specialists through all assigned work requests
• Review and distribute all approved work requests based on staff availability and skill, ensuring all needed resources are obtained
• Monitor progress and performance and troubleshoot any problems that may arise
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree – any major; OR
• 4 years of job-related work experience;OR
• 2 years of job-related experience plus an Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree

The hourly rate for this position is $45.46.
