Job Summary
- Software Development: Write, modify, and maintain legacy code (COBOL, JCL) and manage databases (DB2, IMS).
- Testing & Debugging: Perform unit and integration testing; troubleshoot and resolve system abends (abnormal endings) and performance bottlenecks
- System Integration: Work with modern APIs (like z/OS Connect) to integrate legacy mainframe environments with newer cloud or distributed architectures.
- Maintenance & Support: Provide regular production support, system upgrades, and routine maintenance
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical specification documents for system changes and handovers.
Mandate skills : COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, IDMS
