Qualifications:
- Desired Experience Range 8+ YEARS
- Design and build automated operations routines
- Design and build IPL routine / system start up and shut down procedures
- Upgrade Mainframe automation product (CA-OPS/MVS)
- Customize Automation product
- AOF – the Automated Operations Facility (AOF)
- COF – the CICS Operation Facility (COF)
- ECF – the Enhanced Console Facility (ECF)
- EPI – the External Product Interface (EPI)
- HWS – the Hardware Services (HWS)
- IOF – the IMS Operations Facility (IOF)
- MSF – the Multi-System Facility (MSF)
- OSF – the Operator Server Facility (OSF)
- POI – the Programmable Operations Interface (POI)
- RDF – the Relational Data Framework (RDF)
- SOF – Switch Operations Facility (SOF)
- SSM Use of Mainframe automation to improve service
- Reduce manual intervention, expand and improving error capture processes
- Provide general mainframe automation consultancy requiring use of CA-OPS/MVS, Control-M and TWS/OPC;
- Exploit the use of various monitoring tools (such as Tivoli, Sysview, etc., ) as feeds into automated problem resolution routines
- Interact with interfaces such as BEM for incident/problem management and control
- Extensive REXX programming
- z/OS System Programming
- SMP/E Actions
- Working knowledge of DB2, IMS, CICS & Console Operations
