Position Summary:

The Pharmacist will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care which includes: clinical, distribution, educational, informational, quality assurance and supervisory functions for Madera Community Hospital Pharmacy Department.  Interprets physician prescriptions and medication orders.  Acts as a drug information resource to patients, medical staff, nursing staff and ancillary department personnel.  Compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals for patient care by performing the related duties.  Position requires availability to cover all shifts including overnight and weekend shifts.

Qualifications:

Requires graduate from an accredited School of Pharmacy.

Requires current State of California Pharmacist License.

Requires minimum one year previous Hospital Pharmacist experience.
