We're looking for an experienced Class 5 Driver to join our Auckland team.

This is a varied role that offers plenty of diversity. Depending on operational requirements, you could be involved in pre-cast transport, general freight, local deliveries, linehaul work, and if you can operate a swinglift, that's an even bigger advantage.

What you'll be doing

No two days are quite the same. Your work may include:

• Transporting products safely and efficiently.
• General freight deliveries across the Auckland region.
• Local metro work and linehaul assignments.
• Loading, securing and transporting a wide variety of freight.
• Representing Mackleys professionally with customers every day.
• Completing pre-start checks and ensuring your vehicle is presented to a high standard.
• Working safely and following company and customer procedures at all times, as well as all vehicles regulations and transport legislation.

What we're looking for

• A current New Zealand Class 5 Driver Licence.
• A minimum of 3 years relevant Class 5 heavy transport driving experience is required.
  
• Swinglift experience would be a real advantage.
• Forklift licence and OSH endorsement (advantageous but not essential).
• Confidence using technology and learning new systems.
• A strong commitment to health and safety.
• Great customer service and communication skills.
• Pride in maintaining your truck and equipment.
• Reliability, punctuality and a positive, team-focused attitude.
