McClure Post-Acute is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-orientedMaintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will help maintain a safe, clean, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general building and facility maintenance
• Perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance
• Help maintain resident rooms, common areas, and facility grounds
• Troubleshoot and address basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical issues
• Assist with painting, drywall, carpentry, and other general repairs
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders
• Help ensure the facility remains safe, clean, and in good working condition
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and facility policies
• Assist the Maintenance Director with projects and other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, facilities, or repair experience preferred
• Skilled in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to maintenance needs promptly
• Previous healthcare or skilled nursing facility experience is a plus
