In this role, you will provide electrical engineering expertise, support factory expansion projects, and contribute to the development and implementation of technical standards that ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable operations across multiple LEGO sites.

The position is based in Nyíregyháza, Hungary.

Core Responsibilities

• Drive electrical projects in collaboration with colleagues at factories globally.

• Support the design and installation of the LEGO Group's existing factory in Hungary.

• Support all sites with knowledge and project support in relation to your area of expertise.

• Participate in projects and collaborate with suppliers and authorities.

• Support the discovery of new technologies and solutions to be implemented in LEGO standards and projects.

• Audit processes, standards, and policies to ensure they are followed.

• Train colleagues within the electrical engineering area.

The Engineering Design & Sustainability team is part of Global Workplace Projects and is responsible for large-scale construction projects and utility-related investments across the LEGO Group. The team is responsible for technical areas including construction concepts, MEP disciplines, building management systems, and fire safety. We develop, maintain, and continuously improve global standards and apply them in projects worldwide.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will join a team of more than 30 professionals with diverse engineering backgrounds and expertise. The team supports both operations and projects across LEGO sites globally.

In this role, you will contribute to a broad range of factory expansion and construction projects, helping ensure projects are delivered on time, at the right quality level, and with sustainable technical solutions.

Do You Have What It Takes?

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience within one or more of the following areas: electrical setup, high-voltage supply, low-voltage supply, electrical protection, energy efficiency, monitoring systems, and cabling installations for international clients.

• Familiarity with international standards and practices in engineering design and installations.

• Experience in international engineering and local design institutes.

• Knowledge of electrical-related automation control strategy.

• Knowledge of local standards and regulations within your area of expertise.

• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal (C1).

• Strong presentation and written communication skills.
