What awaits you?

As aJava Developer, you will support the development, enhancement, and operation of ContiTrade's Fleet Solutions, a business-critical platform serving fleet customers and partner networks across EMEA. Working closely with developers, solution architects, product owners, and business stakeholders, you will contribute to the design and implementation of reliable, scalable, and secure software solutions. 

Your responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Java-based solutions
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Support application integrations with internal and external systems
• Collaborate with team members to design scalable and maintainable software architectures
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues
• Participate in testing, code reviews, and quality assurance activities
• Support application operations, upgrades, and continuous improvements
• Contribute to incident, change, and service management processes

Technical Skills

• Experience inJava Web Development incl. Spring Framework
• Knowledge ofunit and integration testing
• Good understanding ofrelational databases and RESTfulWeb Services

Collaboration & Ways of Working

• GoodEnglish communication skills
• Experience working incross-functional and international teams
• Familiarity withAgile methodologies and related tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, BMC, or similar ticketing systems

AI-Enabled Development

• Hands-on experience withAI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot
• Understanding of AI-supported software engineering practices, including code generation, debugging, testing, and documentation
• Ability to leverage AI effectively while maintaining high standards forquality, security, and maintainability
