Summary:

The Construction Superintendent will be tasked with managing and driving the construction activities of projects while interacting with customers, trade partners, building inspectors, and other Heibar associates to deliver quality product on time and in full. The Construction Superintendent has a critical role in creating a Truly Outstanding Customer Experience. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company and the capability of working in a team environment are crucial for this position. This position will have a strong presence in the field and will be expected to both manage and use trade knowledge with installations asneeded.

Essential Duties andResponsibilities:

• Accountable for managing projects from start to completion in accordance with the Heibar Construction Schedule
• Delivering all projects with zero defects with supervision from ConstructionManager
• Managing Trade Partners to deliver high quality projects while meetingbudgets
• Coordinating with customers to ensure issues are quicklyresolved
• Position will report to Regional ConstructionManager
• Establish time management skills for calling on and walking required inspections as well as creating and managing multiple punch lists & QC items
• Maintaining a clean job site for trade partners, customers, andmunicipalities
• Enforces OSHA safety requirements and Heibar safetyprogram.
• Cross training with other associates to learn new skills and scopes as needed for advancement
• Develop a commitment to our documented quality improvement process and the philosophy of continuous improvement
• Identifies and responds actively and with sensitivity to the needs of allcustomers
• Participates as a team player in all phases of the organization; and is open and responsive tochange.
• Completes training programs for all scopes withinHeibar.
• Orders and inspects materials delivered tosite
• Capable of suppling daily updates thoughiPad
• Learn to read construction plans as needed byscope
• Complete required company specifictraining
• Physically work on field installations, decks, etc. when project management allows. Regional Construction Manager will assign as needed.

• Knowledge of common building materials used in residential, multi-family and commercialconstruction
• Trade/installation skills and knowledge of residential fit and finishinstallations
• Trade / installation skills with deck and handrailinstallations

• Excellent organizational skillsrequired
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonalskills
• Attention to detail, takes pride in quality ofwork
• Efficient and able to complete assignments within a givendeadline
• Strong work ethic towards accomplishing goals and ability to work in a teamenvironment
• Working knowledge of computers (Microsoft Windows, Office, and generalinternet)
• Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs.independently
• Must be able to pass a background check and drugtest
• 10 Hour OSHA Certified (required within 3 months ofhire)

• High School degree or equivalent, construction management degree is a plus •       Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
