Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and creative Junior UI Developer with strong knowledge of jQuery and experience working with JSP (Java Server Pages)-based applications. The ideal candidate will assist in developing, maintaining, and enhancing dynamic, responsive user interfaces for enterprise-level web applications, ensuring high usability, performance, and visual consistency.

Shift timings:9:00 AM -6:00 PM ( Day shift)
Location:Mumbai
Exp: Min. 2 year

Key Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend Java developers to build and enhance JSP-based web interfaces. 
• Convert Figma or design mockups into responsive web pages usingHTML5, CSS3, JavaScript,jQuery, andJSP. 
• Implement and customizejQuery plugins such asDataTables,Datepicker,Select2,Tooltips, and other interactive components. 
• Maintain and update JSP templates and reusable UI components. 
• Integrate frontend functionality with Java-based backend services using REST APIs. 
• Perform cross-browser testing, debugging, and UI optimization for better performance. 
• Ensure consistent design language and adhere toWCAG accessibility standards. 
• Participate in sprint meetings, daily standups, and code reviews. 

Required Skills & Academic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology,

Proficiency inHTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), andjQuery. 
• Strong experience withjQuery plugins (e.g.,DataTables,Datepicker,Select2, etc.). 
• Basic understanding ofJSP (Java Server Pages) and integration in Java-based web applications. 
• Familiarity withfrontend frameworks like React.js / Angular / Vue.js (added advantage). 
• Experience withresponsive design andcross-browser compatibility. 
• Knowledge ofversion control systems (Git/GitHub/SVN). 
• Understanding ofREST API integration in JSP or Java-based projects. 
• Awareness ofUI/UX principles andcomponent-based design. 
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have 

• Experience withCSS preprocessors (SASS/SCSS). 
• Working knowledge ofBootstrap,Material UI, orTailwind CSS. 
• Exposure toFigma or similar design tools. 
• Understanding ofJSTL,Expression Language (EL), andcustom JSP tags. 
• Familiarity withSpring MVC orStruts frameworks.
