Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 8 years of experience programming in C.
• 8 years of experience in infrastructure security.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  

Responsibilities

• Lead team of security engineers working on data center platforms’ security with a focus on fundamental integrity mechanisms in hardware and firmware, and provide technical leadership.
  
• Develop and refine threat models, perform security reviews, and define security requirements for all platforms entering Google’s data centers.
  
• Drive and improve security processes for effectively raising the security bar.
  
• Lead and perform AI-supported security review campaigns on specification-level as well as on source code or binaries.
