This is for a full-time Occupational Therapist for the Inpatient Rehab department. The schedule would be 5 shifts Monday through Friday, 8 hours each. All staff are required to work 1 weekend shift every 4 weeks, 1 holiday per year, and 2 holiday weekend shifts per year.

Role Overview
As an Occupational Therapist, you will evaluate and treat patients with physical, emotional, cognitive, and psychosocial deficits. Your role is crucial in helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life. You will support patients and their families, ensuring they receive the care and education needed for successful recovery and transition.

What You Will Do
- Assess patients' ability to safely and effectively perform independent living skills.
- Design and implement appropriate plans of care, including type and frequency of treatment.
- Document findings of patient progress and modify care plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families/caregivers about patient deficits.
- Plan and assist with patient discharge, providing guidance on adaptive equipment and support programs.
- Oversee care provided by certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
- Current State of Michigan Licensure in Occupational Therapy.
- BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
