PROTESTANT DIRECTOR OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION (PDRE)

LPR International is seeking a qualified Protestant Director of Religious Education (PDRE) to support the Protestant religious education program at Naval Support Activity (NSA) Naples in Gricignano, Italy.

IMPORTANT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT
Applicants must already possess the legal status necessary to reside in Italy and work for U.S. Forces in Italy for a minimum of two years from the anticipated contract award date. This position is strictly on-site and does not provide relocation or sponsorship.

Position Overview

The PDRE supports and coordinates Protestant religious education programming for the NSA Naples Chapel community. Responsibilities include planning and administering religious education activities, coordinating curriculum and programs, recruiting and supporting volunteers, communicating with families and chapel personnel, and helping ensure effective delivery of Protestant religious education programs.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must possess either:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Theology, Religious Education, or a related qualifying field; OR
• At least four years of documented experience running Protestant religious education programs.

Relevant experience may include leadership of Protestant Sunday School, children's ministry, youth ministry, Awana, Vacation Bible School, Protestant chapel religious education, or comparable Protestant religious education programs.

Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, experience working with volunteers and families, and the ability to work effectively within a military chapel environment.

Position Details

• Schedule: Part-time, approximately 25 hours per week
• Location: NSA Naples Chapel, Gricignano, Italy
• Work Arrangement: 100% on-site
