As a Consulting Senior Associate, Geologist, based inNew Orleans, you’ll play a critical role in investigating and remediating complex environmental challenges across Texas and the Gulf Business Unit. What You'll Bring:Â
RequiredÂ
- BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent experienceÂ
- 1+ years of relevant experience, or strong interest in field‑based environmental workÂ
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document and interpret technical dataÂ
- Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast‑paced consulting environment while meeting deadlinesÂ
- Detail‑oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem‑solving skillsÂ
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all health and safety protocolsÂ
- Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.Â

PreferredÂ
- Prior environmental fieldwork experienceÂ
- 40‑hour OSHA HAZWOPER certificationÂ
- Familiarity with environmental sampling methods, drilling oversight, or remediation systemsÂ
Key Responsibilities:Â
- Conduct field activities including soil, sediment, groundwater, and surface water samplingÂ
- Oversee drilling operations, soil borings, monitoring well installation, development, purging, and samplingÂ
- Perform aquifer testing, soil logging, and construction oversightÂ
- Coordinate subcontractors for drilling, surveying, and laboratory servicesÂ
- Support environmental remediation projects, including system operations and maintenanceÂ
- Compile, evaluate, and interpret environmental media dataÂ
- Assist with regulatory reporting, including data review, figures, and technical exhibitsÂ
- Perform Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments for property transactionsÂ
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulationsÂ
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors, regulators, tenants, and clients during field activitiesÂ
- Deliver work in alignment with project budgets, schedules, and quality expectationsÂ
- Travel regionally up to 50% as project needs requireÂ
