AbouttheRole

As a Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with operational and corporate teams to provide robustfinancialanalysis,budgetingsupport,forecasting,andperformancereporting.Youwillactasatrustedadvisortobudgetholders,helpingthemunderstandtheirfinancialperformanceandidentifyopportunitiestoimproveefficiencyandoutcomes.

Youwillplayakeyroleinsupportingmonthlyreporting,annualbudgetsetting,forecastingcycles,businesscases,andstrategicprojectsacrosstheorganisation.

KeyResponsibilities

• Buildstrongworkingrelationshipswithbudgetholdersandoperationalleaders.

• Providefinancialinsight,supportandchallengetoaiddecision-making.

• Supportthepreparationofannualbudgets,forecastsandlong-termfinancialplans.

• Produceandanalysemonthlymanagementaccountsandvariancereports.

• Identifyrisks,opportunitiesandperformanceimprovementinitiatives.

• Developfinancialmodels,businesscasesandscenarioanalyses.

• Supportcostimprovementprogrammesandefficiencyprojects.

• Monitorprojectexpenditureandprovideinsightfulfinancialreporting.

• Assistwithcontractbids,tendersandinvestmentappraisals.

• Contributetoimprovementsinfinancialsystems,reportingandprocesses.

• Communicatefinancialinformationclearlytonon-financestakeholders.

You'llbeaproactiveandanalyticalfinanceprofessionalwhoenjoyspartneringwithstakeholdersandinfluencingpositivebusinessoutcomes.

Essential

• Qualifiedorfinalistaccountant(ACCA,CIMA,ACA,CIPFA)orequivalentexperience.

• ExperienceinaFinanceBusinessPartnering,ManagementAccountantorsimilarrole.

• Strongexperienceofbudgeting,forecastingandfinancialreporting.

• Excellentanalyticalandfinancialmodellingskills.

• Abilitytointerpretcomplexfinancialinformationandcommunicateitclearly.

• Experiencebuildingeffectiverelationshipswitharangeofstakeholders.

• AdvancedMicrosoftExcelskills.

• Strongorganisationalskillswiththeabilitytomanagecompetingpriorities.
