Logistics Specialist  
Russell Tobinis partnering with a leading life sciences organization to identify a Logistics Specialistfor an opportunity in King of Prussia, PA.
 
Additional Details:
  • Location model: King of Prussia, PA
  • Position Type: 12-month contract with potential to extend
  • Pay range approved: $30/hr – $36/hr, depending on experience

Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily logistics operations to support production and distribution schedules.
  • Oversee inventory management and maintain accurate inventory records across warehouse systems.
  • Coordinate warehouse and distribution activities to ensure the timely and efficient movement of materials and finished goods.
  • Support transportation coordination as needed, with a primary focus on warehouse operations, inventory control, and distribution.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, company procedures, and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with procurement, production planning, quality, and other internal teams to maintain efficient logistics workflows.
  • Utilize SAP for inventory management, logistics transactions, workflow coordination, and reporting.
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and operational issues to improve logistics efficiency.
 
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • 6+ years of logistics experience.
  • 4–6 years of experience in warehouse and distribution operations.
  • 4–6 years of hands-on SAP experience required.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, warehouse processes, and distribution operations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry, such as pharmaceutical or biotechnology, is a plus.
