North Memorial Health is seeking a Locum NP/ PA

Dates of Coverage: MAY- JULY. Up to full time workPractice Setting: Primarily function as trauma hospitalist rounder. may have some intermittent ED consult, trauma activations, procedures work. For those with surgical and trauma critical care experience may have needs for this. Call Ratio: no call- in house onlyAverage Number of Patients Per Day: 10-14 admitted patients to round on if non ICU, 6 if ICU, admitting/ED can be 2-15 per 24hDocumentation System/EMR: EPICTrauma Level/Designation: Level I adult that cares for PediatricsWill APP be Working Autonomously? YesSupervising Physician Present During Assignment?: Staffed with Trauma Surgeon 24-hour per daySpecialty Back-Up is Available (If Needed) for Procedures Noted: Trauma SurgeonPatient Age Demographic: 0-100+, but primarily adult and adolescent.Preferred local providers - Only Mileage is Reimbursed
Required Procedures: (These are not all necessary but preferred)

Non-Invasive Vent Management (bipap/cpap)
Ventilation Management
Chest Tube Insertion
Central Line
Arterial Line
Suturing Minor Lacerations

Required of the APP:

Responding to the ED for Trauma Alerts
Facilitating Discharges
ER Admissions
Daily rounding and management of all conditions- we do not use hospitalists. need to be fully able to be attending on all patient conditions

Additional Required Procedures/Responsibilities: We do have guidelines and non clinical expectations for tracking
