Mailroom / Lockbox Processing Associate – $18–$19/hr
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay Rate: $18.00–$19.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday | 6:00 AM–3:30 PM (typically 8-hour shifts; start and end times vary)
Overtime: Mandatory as needed
Job Overview
We are hiring Mailroom / Lockbox Processing Associates in Charlotte, NC! This is a great opportunity for dependable, detail-oriented individuals with experience in mailroom operations, payment processing, warehouse production, or similar fast-paced environments.
In this role, you will process incoming mail and payments, operate sorting and scanning equipment, and ensure transactions are completed accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities

Sort, open, scan, and prepare incoming mail and payment documents.

Process payment transactions accurately following established procedures.

Operate mail sorting, extraction, and scanning equipment.

Monitor equipment, clear minor jams, and report mechanical issues.

Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and meet daily production goals.

Assist with general mailroom and processing duties as needed.

Follow company safety, compliance, and operational guidelines.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous experience in mailroom, lockbox, payment processing, or production environments preferred.

Experience with OPEX Falcon, OPEX 150/IEM, OPEX MPS 40, or similar equipment is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Basic computer skills and ability to follow instructions.

Reliable, organized, and comfortable working as part of a team.

Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. as needed.

Availability to work overtime when required.
