What weāre looking for: Somone to oversee the daily operations of the Loan Compliance team and to ensure compliance with all federal and state lending regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements. Someone to lead a team of Loan Compliance Specialists, providing direction, coaching, and support to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely completion of compliance tasks related to loan origination, servicing, and documentation. Someone to work closely with internal departments, auditors, and regulatory agencies to provide a strong compliance culture across RCB Bank. Someone responsible for implementation of new regulations and changes to regulations in the lending area to ensure compliance with all applicable lending regulations and banking laws.

What youāll do:
- Supervise and lead the Loan Compliance Specialists, including assigning workloads, monitoring performance, conducting regular one-on-ones, and facilitating professional development, ensuring the loan compliance team accurately reviews loan files, disclosures, and documentation for compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Monitor changes in lending regulations and compliance requirements; assist with policy updates and implementation of necessary changes in procedures and systems; maintain and update compliance tracking tools to monitor loan compliance performance.
- Oversee the preparation of preliminary and closing real estate disclosures; complete the Qualified Mortgage review to ensure all requirements are met under the guidelines; oversee the Flood review process and annual flood requirements.
- Collaborate with the Loan Compliance and Systems Manager to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and training within the compliance function; assist in training lending staff on compliance procedures and updates.
- Act as a liaison between the lending area and the compliance department, serving as a subject matter expert and providing guidance to lending staff regarding loan compliance matters.

What you must have:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in a compliance department and/or specialized lending function in a banking environment, including a strong understanding of loan regulations, compliance, and industry best practices
- Advanced experience with loan documentation and loan processing platforms
