Product Owner

Alongside is a Portuguese company that partners with international organizations to build and scale exceptional tech teams.

We are looking for aProduct Ownerto join a project with one of our clients, a global leader in professional information solutions and software. Operating across more than 180 countries, the company develops technology-driven solutions for industries including Healthcare, Tax & Accounting, Financial & Corporate Compliance, and Legal & Regulatory.

You will play a key role in defining product priorities, managing the backlog and translating business and customer needs into clear, actionable requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage theproduct backlog, ensuring priorities reflect business objectives and customer value;
• Define clear and actionableuser stories and acceptance criteria;
• Gather and analyze requirements, translating business needs into well-defined product features;
• Collaborate closely withEngineering, UX, QA, Business Analysts, Product Managers and Scrum Masters;
• Support the team in defining and achieving sprint goals;
• Participate inPI Planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives and other Agile ceremonies;
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle;
• Contribute to product and platform transition and enablement initiatives;
• Help ensure alignment between customer needs, product priorities and technical delivery.

• Minimum3 years of experience in Product Ownership or Business Analysis within SaaS or enterprise software;
• Strong ability toinfluence and lead without authority;
• Strong understanding ofAgile/Scrum methodologies;
• Excellentcommunication and stakeholder management skills;
• Bachelor's degree inComputer Science, Business, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience withSAFe Agile;
• CSPO, SAFe POPM, or equivalent certification.
