Job Description:

Global Credit Operations plays a critical role in delivering Trade Finance solutions across Asia Pacific, supporting clients through a network of operations teams, fulfilment centers, and strategic service partners. As business volumes, regulatory expectations, and client demands continue to evolve, Operations is at the forefront of driving serviceexcellence, risk management, and scalable growth.

The successful candidate will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of trade servicing and fulfilment across multiple markets, balancing exceptional client service, operational excellence, regulatory compliance and business growth support.

Additional exposure includes representing APAC in regional and global operational excellence forums, partnering with senior Corporate Banking and Global Treasury Services leaders, and shaping the APAC client service strategy to support business growth and service excellence. 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end Trade Financefulfilment and service delivery processes across multiple jurisdictions to ensure consistent, high-quality client experience
• Drive regional strategy, operating model execution, and capacity planning to support business growth, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and scalable delivery
• Partner with senior operations, business and risk stakeholders to support client needs, new business initiatives, and strategic priorities
• Maintain a robust risk, control, and governance framework, serving as the senior escalation point for significant operational, regulatory, client, and control matters, while ensuring timely and sustainable issue remediation
• Lead organizational effectiveness through talent development, succession planning, workforce strategy, employee engagement, and leadership development
• Define and enhance fulfilment and servicing policies, procedures, training and standardization programs. 

Skills:

• This role requires a senior operations leader with deep Trade Finance expertise, strong risk discipline, and proven experience leading multi-country teams in a complex banking environment.

• 15+ years of banking operations experience, including significant leadership experience within Trade Finance Operations
• Experience leading client service, product management, project management and/or operations teams serving corporate clients and financial institutions. 
• Demonstrated experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams across multiple countries
• Strong understanding of operational risk management, audit, regulatory compliance, and control frameworks
• Strong written & oral communication and presentation skills; able to target messaging to different audiences; provide consolidated data in a clear and concise manner appropriate for all levels of management
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, partnering across front office, operations, technology, risk and control functions to deliver seamless client service. 
• Ability to manage workforce planning, organizational capacity, reporting, and forecasting
• Experience leading transformational initiatives to optimize service models, operational efficiency and client experience. 
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
