Forge is pleased to partner with a growing boutique litigation firm in Toronto with a strong focus on Estates & Trusts Litigation. Our client is seeking an experienced Litigation Law Clerk / Legal Assistant to support their dynamic and collaborative team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation professional who enjoys working on sophisticated matters, values teamwork, and wants to contribute to a growing practice alongside experienced lawyers.
About the Role
Working closely with lawyers and the litigation team, the successful candidate will:
- Prepare, organize, and file court materials in accordance with Ontario court procedures.
- Draft and format litigation documents, correspondence, and legal forms.
- Manage calendars, deadlines, limitation dates, and scheduling requirements.
- Coordinate service and filing of court documents.
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical client files.
- Assist with discoveries, mediations, motions, and trial preparation.
- Liaise professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and other stakeholders.
- Provide day-to-day litigation and administrative support to lawyers.
- Assist the team in managing a busy practice while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization.
The Offer
- Competitive salary range of$65,000โ$80,000, commensurate with experience.

What You Bring
As an ideal candidate, you possess3+ years of experience as a Litigation Law Clerk or Legal Assistant and have experience supporting lawyers in a litigation environment.
You have strong knowledge of the Ontario Rules of Civil Procedure, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced practice.
Experience inCivil Litigation is required, while experience inEstate Litigation is considered a strong asset.
You are proactive, detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to providing high-quality support to lawyers and clients.
