Position Overview

A leading law firm is seeking a high-performing Litigation Associate to join its growing commercial litigation practice in Wilmington, Delaware. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience handling complex commercial disputes in a law firm environment, with demonstrated litigation experience before the Delaware Court of Chancery and the Complex Commercial Litigation Division of the Delaware Superior Court.

The successful candidate will possess sophisticated legal writing skills, strong research capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complex commercial litigation matters and business disputes.

• Represent clients in proceedings before the Delaware Court of Chancery and the Complex Commercial Litigation Division of the Delaware Superior Court.

• Develop litigation strategies and assist with case management throughout all stages of disputes.

• Conduct in-depth legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, and other litigation documents.

• Analyze complex legal issues and provide practical recommendations.

• Collaborate with partners and colleagues to develop effective case strategies and deliver high-quality client service.

• Support discovery, motion practice, and other litigation proceedings as required.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm setting.

• Demonstrated litigation experience before theDelaware Court of Chancery and theComplex Commercial Litigation Division of the Delaware Superior Court.

• Strong academic credentials.

• Exceptional legal writing and research skills.

• Excellent analytical and communication abilities.

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

• Admission to practice law in theState of Delaware.

Compensation

The anticipated annual salary range is$205,000–$225,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
