About the Role
Our client's nationally recognized Business Litigation practice group is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney (5th–7th year) to join its Boston office.
This role is ideal for a seasoned litigation associate with sophisticated experience handling complex commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, white collar matters, and internal investigations. Associates in this group work on high-stakes disputes and investigations for sophisticated corporate and institutional clients in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate combines strong litigation fundamentals with strategic thinking, exceptional writing ability, and experience independently managing significant litigation workstreams.

Conduct legal research and draft:

Motions

Briefs

Investigation memoranda

Discovery-related filings

Case strategy materials

Manage and oversee discovery, witness preparation, and litigation strategy support

Coordinate and manage multiple active litigation matters simultaneously

Collaborate with partners, clients, and cross-functional teams on sophisticated disputes and investigations

Supervise and mentor junior associates and business professionals where appropriate

Participate in strategic case development and client advisory matters
Required Qualifications

5–7 years of significant litigation experience

Strong experience with:

Complex commercial litigation

Shareholder disputes

White collar matters

Internal investigations

Experience practicing in the litigation department of a comparable law firm

Excellent drafting, analytical, and oral advocacy skills

Strong project management and multitasking capabilities

Experience overseeing junior associates and support staff preferred

Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school
