- Responsible for coding, testing, and delivering high-quality deliverables.
- Must be open to learning new technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support implementation of mission-critical production systems and applications.
- Perform integration and regression testing.
- Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with application teams.
- Provide feedback on issues and software performance to the development team.
- Enter system change requests and work with support teams to reduce system failure risk.
- Follow operational and technical standards, best practices, and procedures.
- Escalate issues to development teams with analysis for fixes.
- Act as an escalation point for Production Management Level 2 support teams.
- Perform Level 3 support activities and root cause analysis.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BE/B.Tech/MCA degree.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the financial industry (market data experience preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work around limited information.
- Advanced Linux knowledge (Kernel, memory management, CPU scheduling, bypass technologies such as Solarflare Onload).
- Deep understanding of UNIX/Linux OS internals, resource monitoring, and OS parameter tuning.
- Proficiency in UNIX/Linux shell scripting (ability to read, write, and maintain scripts).
- Proficiency in Python or PERL scripting.
