Linen Service Specialist

• Hospital or healthcare experience.

Responsibilities:

• Restock, inspect, and transport clean linen carts throughout hospital facilities daily.
• Collect soiled linen from designated storage areas and prepare them for laundry shipment.
• Adhere to all hospital and laundry department policies, including proper appearance.
• Participate in outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships.
• Demonstrate hospital core values: integrity, compassion, balance, excellence, stewardship, and teamwork.
• Restock linen carts on assigned routes within the assigned time frame, using approved equipment.
• Enter data into linen management software as required.
• Remove unacceptable linen from carts and ensure adequate supply of soiled linen bags.
• Patrol work area for cleanliness and deliver empty linen carts to designated areas.
• Report linen shortages and issues to the supervisor as requested.
• Handle soiled linen bags and deliver them professionally to designated areas.
• Maneuver large bins and linen carts safely.
• Adjust to staff shortages and cover other areas while maintaining high standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth department operations.
