Line Technician - 1st Shift

LINE TECHNICIAN 1ST SHIFT (MACHINE OPERATOR - GENERAL PRODUCTION) - LOUISVILLE, KY

OVERVIEW:

This individual will package quality products at or above standard production rates. The individual must follow standard operating procedures and become qualified in all technical positions within the department.  Management will determine the shift on which the team member must train.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Work where the Shift Manager or Shift Supervisor directs you within the department.
• Assume the responsibilities of the assigned job and complete work following current S.O.P.s while maintaining line efficiencies and yields at or above standard.
• Communicate any production problems or safety issues to the Shift Supervisor.
• Maintain process documentation for the assigned task.
• Perform Quality checks as required.
• Commit to producing quality products and meeting food safety standards.
• Any additional duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Must be able to perform all duties as assigned in the work instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and use both right and left hands.
• Must successfully complete a basic certification assessment
• Must be able to stand during the entire schedule.
• Must be able to read and write basic English.
• Must be able to do basic addition and subtraction.
