Commercial Project Manager

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday (Hours vary based on project needs)
Location: Corporate Office in Lake Mary, FL (some local/regional travel required based on job needs)
Compensation: Starting at $70,000/year (based on experience) + Bonus Potential

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution: Lead, drive, and manage commercial construction projects from kickoff to final closeout.
• Material & Equipment Procurement: Build out material requirements, generate accurate purchase orders, and coordinate delivery schedules to ensure job sites have necessary resources without project delays.
• Budgeting & Cost Management: Conduct cost analysis and manage project budgets to drive profitability.
• Subcontractor & Vendor Management: Oversee subcontractor bid requests, contracting, and vendor relationships.
• On-Site Oversight: Monitor on-site progress for both self-performed and subcontracted work to ensure compliance with building codes, QA/QC policies, and safety standards. Project site presence and field visits will be a regular requirement for this role.
• Quality & Blueprint Accuracy: Ensure all installations strictly align with project drawings and high performance standards.
• Client & Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between company leadership, customers, field teams, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of proven success managing commercial construction projects.
• Technical Skills: Strong ability to read blueprints, build accurate material/labor estimates, and navigate project plans.
• Software: Proficiency with Google Workspace (G Suite) and AutoCAD.
• Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of meeting strict deadlines.
• Industry Experience: Solar or electrical construction experience is required.
