Job Description
Job PurposeOperate, maintain, and support lighting systems through preventive maintenance and timely response to operational needs, ensuring reliable performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with established standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform repairs, maintenance, and installation work on lighting systems.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance and support energy management and conservation programs.
• Respond promptly to emergency lighting system issues and carry out appropriate corrective actions.
• Prepare policies and procedures (P&P) for management review and approval.
• Maintain the company’s high standards of quality and service while complying with established policies and procedures.
• Initiate purchase requisitions and evaluate alternative vendors and service providers to help ensure the best value for the company.
• Provide daily progress updates to the Assistant Director – Electrical.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director or Assistant Director.
Competencies and Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in lighting installation and electrical maintenance within a hotel or related environment.
Knowledge/Certificates: Sound knowledge of relevant electrical trades, codes, and local government regulations.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering.
Language Abilities: Good command of English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
