Rate: $40/hr on W2
Description
The Licensing Compliance Specialist II is responsible for managing the organization's licensing and registration activities to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. This role coordinates the preparation, submission, renewal, and maintenance of licenses, permits, registrations, and related documentation required for business operations and employee credentialing. The position serves as a key liaison with regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders, monitors regulatory changes impacting licensing obligations, and supports audits and inspections. Working with moderate independence, the Licensing Compliance Specialist II helps ensure the organization maintains continuous compliance with licensing requirements while minimizing operational risk
Requirements
- Prepare, submit, and maintain licensing, registration, permit, and renewal applications with applicable regulatory agencies.
- Monitor licensing requirements and renewal schedules to ensure all filings are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain complete and accurate records of licenses, registrations, permits, and supporting documentation.
- Track application statuses and proactively follow up with regulatory agencies regarding outstanding submissions.
- Review regulatory updates and assess the impact of changes on licensing and registration requirements.
- Respond to inquiries, requests for information, and deficiency notices from regulatory authorities.
- Partner with internal departments to gather, validate, and organize documentation required for licensing submissions.
- Coordinate remediation activities and corrective actions related to licensing deficiencies or regulatory findings.
- Support internal and external audits, inspections, and compliance reviews involving licensing and registration processes.
- Generate reports and metrics related to licensing compliance activities and escalate potential compliance risks as appropriate.
- 2+ years of relevant licensing, compliance, regulatory affairs, credentialing, or administrative experience.
- Experience supporting licensing, registration, or regulatory compliance activities within a regulated industry.
- Working knowledge of regulatory filing processes, document control practices, and compliance recordkeeping.
- Experience coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders and external regulatory agencies.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Regulatory Affairs, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
