EMBARK NOW on a deeply rewarding journey as a Support Worker in our Home & Community service across theCentral Coast Region and experience the satisfaction by supporting your clients to overcome challenges, achieve their goals, and thrive in a supportive environment.

Primarily, these positions include community-based one-on-one support where you'll have the opportunity to directly engage with clients and encourage independence by taking them out into the community.

*Note: whilst you will have a primary location during your onboarding (Beresfield), these roles are based in the Central Coast and will require travel to different clients throughout the region including Wyong, Long Jetty, and Umina.

The Role:

Support adults living in CPA group homes to lead rich, independent and empowered lives. Your day-to-day may include:

• Encouraging skill-building, independence, and decision-making

• Providing respectful support with personal care, mealtimes, medication, and daily routines

• Supporting community engagement, social connection and transport (including use of CPA vans & in your own vehicle)

• Following person-centred plans with empathy and professionalism

• Building positive relationships with our clients.

What You'll Bring:

We are looking for candidates who embody CPAvalues, areclient-focused in their approach to care, and arepassionate about the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities.

• Acan-do attitude andgrowth mindset — you’re open to learning and ready to make a difference

• Professional Behaviour Support experience or lived experience preferred, however yourcan-do attitude is key!

• NSW Driver’s Licence (P2 or above)

• Physical capability to support clients with mobility or transfers

• Availability fora minimum of 3 days per week(15–20+ hours), ideally including a minimum of 2 Saturdays/month - Available to work shifts between the hours of 9am and 4pm

• Comfortable travelling to all locations in the region

You will have comprehensive training throughout your orientation, with ongoing learning and development. We invest $5,000 in training in your first year

• Buddy shifts with CPA's experienced Disability Support Workers

• CPA is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 90213). 

We offer fully funded nationally recognised qualifications including: 

• CHC33021 – Certificate III in Individual Support 

• Ongoing specialist training and skill development
