Accounting Consultant

We are seeking Accounting & Operations Consultants at the Staff through Manager level to support day-to-day accounting, finance, and operational activities onsite in Boca Raton, FL. Depending on experience level, consultants may provide hands-on accounting support or take ownership of key processes, deliverables, and team coordination. This is a 1099 contract opportunity. 

What You’ll Do

• Support day-to-day accounting and finance operations
• Prepare and review account reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Support month-end close activities and financial reporting
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Assist with operational accounting needs and resolve discrepancies
• Partner with accounting, finance, and operations stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and documentation
• At more senior levels, take ownership of deliverables and provide guidance to team members

What We’re Looking For

• Accounting or finance experience at the Staff, Senior, or Manager level
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and processes
• Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting or financial systems
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively onsite in Boca Raton, FL
