Role Description

The Manager – Legal and Tax Professionals is a full time, on site role based in Delhi NCR. This person will own the Legal and Tax Professionals segment nationally, and will lead the segment's sales team.

The role is measured on one number: segment target attainment, backed by new subscriptions every month, average revenue per user, trial to paid conversion, renewal collection and association tie ups signed.

India has lakhs of advocates, law firms and practising Chartered Accountants, and every one of them lives on research. Winning them is not about one big deal. It is about the right price, a trial that converts, a community that trusts Lexlegis.ai and renewals that come in on time. The Manager – Legal and Tax Professionals will build the engine that brings Lexlegis.ai to every practitioner's desk. This includes earning the trust of Tier 1 and Tier 2 law firms, senior advocates and solo practitioners, practising Chartered Accountants and tax consultants, Bar Associations, Bar Councils, tax bar associations, ICAI branches and study circles.

Day to day responsibilities include:

• Owning the segment target across Tier 1 and Tier 2 law firms and the solo advocate and Chartered Accountant base

• Owning renewal collection across a large, small ticket subscriber base

• Designing practitioner pricing and bundles

• Building a trial to paid journey that turns first time users into paying subscribers

• Building institutional programme with Bar Associations, Bar Councils, ICAI branches and tax bar associations

• Running a city wise calendar of events, camps and webinars

• Building referral and reseller loops with Chartered Accountant and tax consultant firms

• Turning every association tie up into a steady source of new subscribers

• Leading and coaching the segment's sales team to consistent attainment

• Travelling regularly across cities to run events, meet associations and support the team in person

Qualifications

• 14 to 16 years of experience selling to India's legal and tax professional community

• At least 5 years of managing a team in a volume subscription business

• A live network across law firms, senior advocates, ICAI branches, study circles, tax bar associations and Bar Associations

• Working tax vocabulary across GST, income tax returns, TDS and appeals

• A feel for pricing, conversion funnels and what makes a practitioner renew

• Willingness to travel regularly across India

• A graduate degree in any discipline

Good to Have

• Experience growing a product led or trial based subscription business

• A law degree or CA qualification. We especially welcome lawyers and Chartered Accountants who have moved into sales
