Warranty Engineer - Detect

We are looking for aWarranty Engineer totake ownership of quality and technical issues for our automotive systems.

In this role, you will act as abridge between our development teams, production plants, and global car manufacturers. Your goal is to lead the investigation of technical failures, coordinate expert teams to find solutions, and ensure our products meet the highest quality standards.

Main Activities

• Leading Problem Solving:You will lead teams to find the root causes of technical issues using standard methods (like 8D or Root Cause Analysis).

• Team Coordination: You will organize and lead groups of experts from R&D, Production, and Quality to solve technical problems.

• Customer Communication:You will be the main technical contact for the car manufacturer regarding Warranty issues. You will present our findings and negotiate technical agreements.

• Technical Oversight:You will review technical reports from the lab, ask the right questions, and ensure that every investigation is thorough and complete.

• Reporting:You will monitor quality risks and regularly report the status of open issues to the company management.

• Data & Financial Analysis: You will perform statistical analysis of raw customer warranty data, draw clear conclusions, and calculate anticipated financial costs.

Ideal Profile

• Education: University degreein Electronics, Computer Science, or a similar technical field.

• Experience:At least 3 years in quality/warranty roles OR 3 years in automotive developmentwith strong technical responsibility.

• Technical Skills: Good understanding of how electronics and software work together in a car and how to diagnose vehicle faults.Knowledge of safety features and product ranges includingcameras, radars, ULS, and control units (ECUs). Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as QRQC, 8D, RED box, and FTA.

• Soft Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills. You must be able to work independentlyand handle complex situations.

• Languages: Fluent English (for meetings with customers and international teams).
