We are seeking an experiencedLending Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support compliance, governance, operational, and business initiatives within the lending domain. The ideal candidate will possess a broad understanding of the lending lifecycle, regulatory requirements, risk management practices, and operational controls across consumer and/or commercial lending environments.
Responsibilities

Provide subject matter expertise across lending operations, compliance, and governance functions.
Support lending product oversight and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Collaborate with business, compliance, risk, and technology teams on lending-related projects.
Assist in reviewing and enhancing lending policies, procedures, and controls.
Support monitoring, testing, audit, and remediation activities.
Participate in regulatory, licensing, and legal process reviews as needed.
Contribute to reporting, documentation, and change management efforts.
Analyze lending processes and recommend operational improvements.
Support cross-functional teams in delivering compliant and efficient lending solutions.

Required Qualifications

12-15+ years of experience within lending, compliance, risk, or financial services.
Strong understanding of the end-to-end lending lifecycle.
Knowledge of lending compliance, governance, and product oversight.
Familiarity with origination, underwriting, servicing, collections, and lending operations.
Experience supporting audits, regulatory reviews, and remediation initiatives.

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
