Leasing Specialist

We are hiring a self‑motivated, personable, and customer‑focusedLeasing Specialist to support the day‑to‑day operations of a busy apartment community. This role is ideal for someone with leasing, sales, or customer service experience who is energetic, professional, and results‑driven.

Schedule: Weekdays and some Saturdays required

Key Responsibilities

• Market and promote apartment homes to achieve maximum occupancy
• Tour prospective residents and follow up on leads
• Prepare, process, and review leases and related documentation
• Handle move‑ins, move‑outs, and lease renewals
• Collect rent and assist with delinquent accounts under the direction of the Property Manager
• Maintain resident files, ledgers, and cash receipt records
• Answer phones and perform general office and administrative duties
• Make money deposits in accordance with company policy
• Build positive relationships with residents and provide outstanding customer service
• Ensure the community is clean, safe, and well‑maintained
• Adhere to company policies, accounting procedures, budgets, andFair Housing laws
• Report accidents, emergencies, or safety concerns immediately
• Maintain a strong safety mindset, including proper use of PPE when required
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills
• Prior leasing experience
• Strong sales and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
• Availability to work weekdays and Saturdays
• Ability to pass background and drug screening

• Experience withRealPage property management software is a plus

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent mobility, including:

• Ability to walk the property, climb stairs, and tour apartments
• Lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, team members, vendors, and management
