Lease Abstractor

Location: San Jose, CA, 95129 Hybrid

Introduction

We are seeking a quick learner who can work independently and question processes. While lease experience is beneficial, it is not a prerequisite for a successful career in this role. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to handle a high volume of emails and requests without becoming overwhelmed, and maintain an organized workspace. This position offers significant visibility to the Lease Payments Team and Lease Administration.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to review, interpret, and abstract legal real estate documents
• Proven track record of successfully completing challenging projects and managing multiple priorities
• Attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and maintain an orderly workspace
• Proven financial, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• BA or BS in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
• Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Lease Accounting background
• Curiosity and/or experience with AI tools and initiatives
• Excel skills
• Tririga or other Lease Accounting software experience
• SAP or large-scale ERP background

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Ensure data integrity by accurately interpreting, abstracting, and entering lease documents into the system of record
• Ongoing verification and abstraction of lease information and appropriate updating of Lease Software as needed
• Review and interpret OpEx adjustments, using good judgment for reasonability and approval requirements
• Assist in ongoing project work, including Lease Software migration and AI-focused initiatives
