Learning Support Assistant

OneSchool Global UK Kenley Campus is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive and collaborative team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference to students' educational journeys by providing tailored support that enables them to thrive both academically and personally.

Working closely with teachers, pastoral staff and campus leadership, you will support students with a range of learning needs, helping to create an inclusive, positive and engaging learning environment where every student can succeed.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing one-to-one and small group support to students within and outside the classroom.
• Supporting students with identified SEND, learning barriers and additional educational needs.
• Assisting teachers with the planning and delivery of learning activities.
• Encouraging student engagement, independence and confidence in learning.
• Helping to implement and monitor individual learning plans and interventions.
• Supporting students' social, emotional and behavioural development.
• Assisting with the preparation of learning resources and classroom activities.
• Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.
• Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a safe learning environment.
• Working collaboratively with teachers, parents and external professionals where required.
• Supporting students during assessments, educational visits and campus activities.
• Contributing to the wider life of the campus and supporting the school's inclusive ethos.

The successful candidate will be patient, compassionate and enthusiastic about helping young people succeed. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a proactive approach and the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and families. Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly those with additional learning needs, would be advantageous, although full training can be provided.
