Lean Six Sigma Black Belt

An established manufacturing organization is seeking a Lean Six Sigma professional to lead high-impact process improvement initiatives across a complex production environment.

This position will partner with operational leaders, project sponsors, and cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, reduce costs, strengthen performance, and support lasting organizational change. The ideal candidate has successfully led Lean Six Sigma projects and can influence teams at every level of an organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex improvement projects focused on cost reduction, productivity, efficiency, and operational performance
• Establish project plans, timelines, performance measures, and expected financial outcomes
• Identify and prioritize continuous improvement opportunities throughout the operation
• Facilitate problem-solving sessions, productivity reviews, and project updates
• Track project progress, results, savings, and long-term sustainability
• Coach and mentor Green Belts and cross-functional project teams
• Provide Lean Six Sigma training and practical support across functional areas
• Partner with leadership to manage the continuous improvement project pipeline
• Support change management and encourage the adoption of improved processes
• Build strong relationships with employees, leaders, suppliers, and other stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred
• Four or more years of experience in manufacturing, operations, engineering, or continuous improvement
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required; Black Belt certification or equivalent project leadership experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated success leading improvement projects that produced measurable business results
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, process improvement, and change management principles
• Ability to coach, train, and influence individuals at multiple organizational levels
• Strong analytical, facilitation, communication, and project management skills
• Self-directed and comfortable managing multiple priorities with limited supervision
