Lead UAT Analyst, you will provide day-to-day support for User Acceptance Testing across enterprise initiatives, SaaS platforms, releases, and integrated business processes. You will ensure UAT activities are planned, traceable, consistently executed, and aligned with approved requirements and expected business outcomes.

Ā

Ā

You will work closely with business owners, Business Architecture, SaaS Administration, Product Owners, Technology, support teams, field representatives, and external vendors to establish test approaches, evaluate requirements and acceptance criteria, coordinate test data and environment readiness, oversee test execution, facilitate defect triage, and assess UAT completion and release readiness.

Ā

This is both a lead and hands-on testing role. You will personally support complex or high-risk testing while providing day-to-day direction and guidance to UAT Analysts and business testers. You will review test scenarios, scripts, execution evidence, defects, and requirements traceability for quality and completeness; monitor testing progress and coverage; and escalate conditions that could affect business readiness or release quality.

Ā

Beyond individual testing cycles, you will strengthen UAT standards, governance, templates, metrics, and ways of working. You will identify opportunities to engage UAT earlier in the delivery lifecycle, improve test coverage, reduce late defect discovery, increase testing efficiency, and maintain a consistent connection between business requirements, solution delivery, validation, and operational readiness.

Express Employment International believes in the value of in-person collaboration to support teamwork, creativity and connection. Employees in this position are expected to work a four (4) day in-office schedule, with the flexibility to work remotely one (1) day each week, based on business and department needs.

Ā

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide day-to-day testing leadership: Coordinate testing priorities and assignments across UAT Analysts and business testers, address execution barriers, and keep testing activities aligned with delivery and release schedules.
  • Review requirements for testability: Evaluate business requirements, process designs, user stories, solution documentation, and acceptance criteria to identify gaps, ambiguity,Ā dependencies, and testing needs before execution begins.
  • Develop business-focused test coverage: Create and maintain test scenarios, scripts, expected results, and end-to-end process validations that reflect how the business use the system.
  • Review requirements for testability: Evaluate business requirements, process designs, user stories, solution documentation, and acceptance criteria to identify gaps, ambiguity, dependencies, and testing needs before execution begins
  • Prepare test execution: Coordinate test data, user access, environments, integrations, schedules, and business participants so testing can begin with the required conditions in place.
  • Execute and facilitate testing: Perform functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and business-process testing while supporting business users and field representatives participating in UAT.
  • Lead defect triage and resolution: Ensure defects are documented with clear evidence and business impact; facilitate prioritization and ownership discussions; monitor progress; coordinate retesting; confirm closure; and escalate unresolved quality risks.
  • Partner across the delivery lifecycle: Work with Business Architecture, SaaS Administration, Product Owners, Technology teams, support functions, and vendors to resolve questions and keep requirements, configuration, and validation aligned.
  • Assess UAT completion and release readiness: Summarize test completion, coverage, open defects, known risks, dependencies, and acceptance status; evaluate whether established exit criteria have been met; and provide recommendations to inform go/no-go and deployment-readiness decisions.
  • Validate production outcomes: Support post-deployment verification to confirm critical business processes and approved functionality perform as expected in production.
  • Provide transparent reporting: Maintain accurate testing status, execution metrics, defect trends, risk summaries, evidence, and decision logs for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Strengthen UAT practices: Help maintain testing standards, templates, repositories, and governance while identifying opportunities to improve coverage, efficiency, consistency, and defect prevention.
  • Preserve usable documentation: Keep test plans, scripts, results, evidence, traceability records, defect documentation, and lessons learned current and accessible.
  • Share knowledge and support others: Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to business testers, process owners, delivery teams, and fellow UAT team members.

Ā

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, including root-cause analysis, critical thinking, and the ability to identify testing gaps, dependencies, edge cases, and potential business impacts.
