Lead TAU Facilitator
SteadyState Work Partners | Austin/Central Texas
Part-Time | Assignment-Based | $50/hour
What We Do
SteadyState Work Partners is a human capital consulting firm specializing in human capital risk mitigation.
We work with organizations when a valuable person's Heat-of-the-Moment actions or inaction are creating business consequences—and knowing better hasn't been enough to stop it.
Our proprietary TAU Core™ intervention develops theI Caught Myself Reflex™: the ability to interrupt an automatic reaction before it becomes consequential action or inaction.
The Role
The Lead TAU Facilitator delivers the participant-facing intervention.
This is an experiential facilitation role—not a classroom training, coaching, counseling, or therapy role.
TAU Core™ is delivered in cohorts of up to five participants through a three-week remote Preparation/Observation period followed by six structured in-person sessions delivered outdoors in changing natural environments.
The facilitator creates and maintains the conditions that allow participants to have their own experience.
You will not tell participants what they should discover.
Core Responsibilities
Participant Preparation
Assist with remote Preparation/Observation work before in-person delivery.
Establish clear expectations and program boundaries.
Prepare participants for the structure of the field experience.

Observe participant actions and inaction without unnecessarily directing the experience.
Maintain appropriate facilitator boundaries.
Coordinate with the Field Operations Safety Lead throughout field delivery.
Participant Integration
Facilitate structured participant reflection via the private participant online portal.
Support participants in analyzing their own experiences and event data.
Maintain focus on the participant's observations rather than supplying interpretations for them.
Support transition from the outdoor experience into subsequent real-world application.

Complete required participant and program documentation.
Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
Follow SteadyState delivery standards and operating procedures.
Protect the integrity and consistency of the TAU Core™ intervention.
