Lead Software Engineer - Salesforce CPQ

We are seeking aLead Software Engineer - Salesforce CPQ to own hands-on engineering for Salesforce implementations from design through delivery. You will lead CPQ configuration and ARM migration programs and ensure integrations across enterprise systems meet standards for quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure complex Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds and external systems in accordance with the agreed architecture
• Drive engineering execution by running code reviews, upholding coding standards, and coaching developers on delivery quality
• Create and troubleshoot integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems such as ERP and legacy databases using batch, near real-time, and real-time patterns
• Work with business analysts and stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure engineering outcomes meet business intent
• Deliver REST and SOAP APIs aligned to the defined API-led integration strategy
• Set up and troubleshoot integration tools and middleware platforms that connect business systems
• Maintain data quality by applying data integration and governance controls during the build
• Configure Salesforce CPQ capabilities including product bundles, pricing rules, quote calculation logic, and approval workflows based on documented business requirements
• Partner with sales and finance teams during build and testing to validate the quote generation process
• Produce technical artifacts by leading build and code review sessions and authoring data model documentation and integration build specs
• Lead large-scale data migration workstreams and oversee the move of complex datasets into Salesforce
• Build scalable, secure migration tooling and scripts to process large data volumes within platform and security constraints
• Oversee data migration execution by coordinating profiling, cleansing, transformation mapping, and reconciliation
• Serve as the key technical advisor on data handling practices, archival implementation, and master data management build activities
• Execute and coordinate release management tasks including deployments, environment management, and go-live technical readiness for large-scale programs

Requirements

• Significant Salesforce development expertise with 8-12 years of IT experience
• Expert-level Salesforce CPQ configuration skills across product bundles, pricing rules, and approval workflows
• Hands-on proficiency with integration build and troubleshooting using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and middleware platforms
• Strong knowledge of databases, integration middleware, and enterprise systems such as ERP
• Proven experience leading engineering teams with code reviews and enforcement of coding standards and best practices
• Demonstrated success delivering large-scale data migration including profiling, cleansing, transformation mapping, and reconciliation
• Hands-on ability to engineer scalable and secure migration tooling and scripts for large data volumes
• Solid understanding of data governance controls to maintain data quality and consistency
• Knowledge of master data management (MDM) build activities along with archival implementation
• Experience coordinating release management activities such as deployments and environment management
• Capability in performance tuning, executing data migration scripts, and supporting release management for large-scale programs
