SAS Conversion SME with Python Expertise Location: PCS CA~TORONTO Years of Experience: 15-30 Years Job Summary: We are seeking highly experienced SAS Conversion Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with strong expertise in Python, PySpark, AWS, and modern data platforms to support the migration and transformation of legacy SAS-based analytics jobs into scalable and maintainable Python-based solutions. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between the DnA Business Teams and the technical implementation teams, assessing existing SAS workloads and identifying conversion opportunities. Responsibilities: - Engage with Business and Analytics teams to analyze existing SAS jobs and reporting pipelines. - Conduct in-depth analysis and impact assessment of SAS-based workloads, recommending appropriate Python-based transformation solutions. - Design and develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable Python/PySpark scripts for batch and real-time data processing in a cloud environment. - Translate SAS data processing logic into Python or PySpark code, ensuring functional parity and performance optimization. - Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI Analysts, and QA teams to ensure end-to-end solution quality. - Assist in data validation and reconciliation to confirm migration completeness and correctness.
