Job Summary
As the Lead, QA and Partner Success, you will manage strategic partner relationships to achieve operational excellence while ensuring installation quality across Residential Solar projects. This role combines leadership of QA processes such as installation quality review, project underwriting, and commissioning with white-glove partner management that delivers best-in-class service. You will lead and develop a team of QA and Operations specialists, serve as an escalation point for quality issues, and analyze performance to drive scalability and efficiency. Your work will directly support the growth and success of IGS Solar's Residential Solar business.
Primary Responsibilities
Partner Success
- Manage ongoing partnerships with our Residential Solar sales and installation partners to ensure operational and financial success for both our partners and IGS Solar.
- Support new partner onboarding by conducting operations, product, and new market training sessions.
- Provide guidance to partners and internal teams on installation quality expectations, program requirements, and corrective actions.
- Work collaboratively to identify, research, and resolve partner issues swiftly and completely, leveraging an expert-level understanding of our business.
- Compile key reports and dashboards to gauge and evaluate partnerships across all relevant facets of our industry, such as project cancellation rates, milestone durations, project quality, operational efficiency, and other relevant performance metrics.
Quality Assurance
- Oversee review of solar projects to verify compliance with underwriting requirements, installation quality standards, and commissioning requirements.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex or non-standard projects, helping determine approval, corrective action, or further escalation.
- Identify recurring quality issues and trends across partners and projects, and work with partners to address root causes.
- Help develop and maintain QA standards, checklists, and review criteria to ensure high-quality solar projects.
Team Leadership
- Lead the Solar QA and Operations team, including day-to-day management, training, team growth, and development.
- Assist the team in efficiently processing operational responsibilities.
- Build and empower team members to grow their careers and become more effective in the industry.
- Become a trusted team member by accomplishing team goals, operating with integrity, and helping shape IGS Solar into a world-class solar company.
Required Skills
- Working knowledge of Residential Solar PV systems and installation practices; familiarity with ESS preferred.
- Strong understanding of the solar interconnection process.
- Ability to review and interpret project documentation, project plan sets, shade reports, and installation photos.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify quality trends and navigate complex resolutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including explaining quality findings clearly to partners.
- Drive for results, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to adapt, evolve, and thrive in an ever-changing environment.
- Exceptional organizational and document management skills with acute attention to detail.
- Ability to learn and master new technologies.
- Ability to manage dozens of sales and installation partnerships, multiple projects, and competing priorities in a fast-paced industry.
Preferred Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Residential Solar installation, operations, QA/QC, or a related function.
- Experience leading a team and managing external partners.
- Familiarity with design or imagery tools such as Aurora Solar or EagleView.

Salary Range:
$67,150.00 - $107,440.00*This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.
